Md. Ibrahim Fatemi (BPM, PPM)
Md. Ibrahim Fatemi, BPM, PPM was born in 1963 in a respectable muslim family in Laxmipur, Bangladesh. His Father name is Shujaet Ullah Bhuan and mother name is Fatema shujaet. He is highly exceedingly educated person. He has completed MSS and BSS in international relationship from Dhaka University.
Md. Ibrahim Fatemi joined Bangladesh Police Service as Assistant Superintendant of Police in 20th December 1989. He has served as SP Dhaka, SP Narayangang, SP Munshigang District,
as AIG in Police Head Quarters, as SS in CID and SB, as Join Commissioner and Additional Commissioner in Dhaka Metropolitan Police. He has also served in Police Staff Collage as Vice Rector (DIG).
Md. Ibrahim Fatemi, BPM, PPM has served twice UN Mission firstly in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UMIB) from June 1997 to June 1998 as Regional Operation Officer, secondly in Timor Leste (UNMIT) from November 2007 to December 2008 as Strategic Officer and Contingent commander of Bangladesh Police.
He has achieved various professional training from home and abroad, out of which the mentionable are: Counter Terrorism and Countering Violent Extremism form USA, INTERPOL Chemical Explosives Terrorism Prevention Global Conference from Estonia, Regional workshop on terrorist financing from Malaysia and Money Lon daring Terrorist Financing Enterprise Conference in Sri Lanka.
Md. Ibrahim Fatemi, is happily married to Dr. Nasrin Akter and blessed with one son, one daughter.
